We had this idea that we wanted to give everyone something free to keep the romance alive. We came up with some fun ideas. We started with free romantic cards for everyone! We have been working with an amazing artist, Summer Swanson over at Artfulife To get to know Summer a little better, we asked her to share her modern day romance story, how she met Dean, the love of her life. In her own words...

"I started working for a really wonderful lady who was an interior designer. Dean worked for Vern our contractor. After months of working there, Vern, Dean's boss actually set us up. Our very first date we went to the beaches at Lake Tahoe. I remember thinking at one point when he gave me his hand to help me jump from a rock, I could live the rest of my life and feel safe with these hands. Silly right? I had just met him. Dean was so different than any other guy I had ever met. We hung out as friends for 5 months. My mom came to visit & was like Summer he is the cutest guy you've ever dated. I was like, well mom we aren't dating but whatever. I hadn't really noticed until my mom pointed it out how cute he really was. I just thought he was a great guy. Then the rest was history. I fell hard fast. We both did. He had liked me the whole time but was being super patient. I knew that he and I were something special. Dean used to bring me lunch everyday when we worked together on the mountain. One day when he brought me lunch he let me know that someday he wanted to marry me. A few months after that, we got married at a beach at Lake Tahoe. Fitting I thought. That's where we met and then where we married.

We have a special relationship & marriage, a little different than most I think. We rarely fight and always have a lot of laughter in our little home.

*The things that I love most about Dean are his willingness to say he's sorry (we hardly argue, just not much to argue about around here)
*His sense of humor. He is hilarious.
*He's not very romantic but always does sweet things for me and the girls.
*He's a great provider
*Has a very strong sense of fairness.
*He's a wonderful father.

I just love him so much. Now don't get me wrong, he's not perfect...but he's perfect for me. Some of our favorite things to do together are talking, working around the house and when we are able we try to go on dates."
